To install

1. Put the Zune HD on Wi-Fi.
2. Open its browser and go to install.zune.moe.
3. Tap Install and leave it alone until it restarts itself.

What Lyra is

A persistent jailbreak and modding platform for the Zune HD. It adds a Mods tab to the home screen and a repository the device installs mods from over Wi-Fi, and it survives reboots. Nothing you already have on the device is touched, and it can be removed from the Mods tab.

Disclaimer

Installing Lyra changes how the device behaves and allows arbitrary third party code to run. While Lyra has measures to disable mods which prevent successful booting, there is always a chance that the device may be unable to start and require restoring to a fresh state, losing your existing data. You do this at your own risk.
