To install

1. Put the Zune HD on Wi-Fi.
2. Open its browser and go to install.zune.moe.
3. Tap Install and leave it alone until it restarts itself.

What Lyra is

A homebrew platform for the Zune HD. It adds a Mods tab to the home screen and a repository the device installs mods from over Wi-Fi, and it survives reboots. Nothing you already have on the device is touched, and it can be removed from the Mods tab.

Why this page is not the installer

The Zune HD shipped in 2009 and its browser cannot complete a handshake with any current TLS server, so the installer is served over plain HTTP where only the device will look for it. What the device downloads is checked against a digest built into the installer, so the transport does not have to be trusted. Everything after the first boot uses TLS.
